Arc / Rarity / Loot bug

hello everbody .
I have the feeling arc is "bugged" when it comes to rarity / quantity calulations. Arc can bounce 2 times i got the feeling when the inital cast hits the enemy (Merveil) it counts with the quantity gems AND rings/armor BUT when arc chains to a second enemy and BACK to the boss i made the observation that the last hit doesnt count ANY of the rarity stuff even not from my armor i made some tests with arc and rarity 205% quantity 30% , 180 without rarity support gem tested 3 hours merivil , 5 minutes per run . it comes out if the Inital chain hit Merveil she pop 4 yellow + (sometimes too much for the invent ) if the second or third Arc Chain hit her - she pops out 1 yellow same as Merveils daughter or other mobs. further testing will be done if someone confirm/denie this feeling ;) Please if anybody "feels" the same , or has some advice for me give some infos here . Will actually bump this, since it feels to me if the bug exists for arc it should also affect lightning arrow, fork, chain and a lot of other abilities. A response would be greatly appreciated :)

hello again , since alot of people describe problems with rarity and i checked it now with merciless tidal island - where my arc doesnt chain to anything at "halraike" , but im standing far away - which also pops NO yellow at all . with around 200 IIR at arc .
at merivil still got the same bug even at close range with the second bounce of arc . (espacially at merivil im solo - No zombies/No spectre/no skeleton since alot of us feel this i ll connect it with the others . pls respond since mine is a little "older" and may be involved with the other 2 since they are summoners . i can confirm his map therory as well with - no rare at all. since this forum post is a summoner with arc its involved with my post http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/297544 and yes i noticed it since i do hailrake with my minions cuz of his icespear at decent distance http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/298889 since i make more than one hailrake runs and my own lvl is 75 my zombies dont die which fit to this one . http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/293805 its already confirmed with culling strike ... which i use with hailrake and some ppl have this feeling on rarity gem http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/13796

hello again
now with a pic . taken from a orange mob (hailrake tidal island) killed with a "Arc culling strike" chained from another mob. The Results after rly alot of runs - my witch from lvl 65-73 ,templar from 65 - 69 Evertime i got something - 2 blue items - 1 yellows , in every lvl run with less rarity. Now i got 1 flask and 1 white item with 209% rarity. my templar with less rarity gets more yellow and he uses another skill(incinerate) . at the screen hailrake my rarity and his drop.  Pls since the starting date is the First of the rarity bug posts. Count the others in to this one. Witch : HaleJesus LVL 82 Arc Summoner

I also feel the same, but I also believe my base rarity/quantity works, and doesn't get the additional bonus when I use Rarity/Quantity gems on Arc. Could easily be confirmation bias.

I can't believe OP has been farming "merivil" for hours, and still hasn't noticed that it's "Merveil".
Maybe that's your problem. Try farming "Merveil" and see if you have any more success. Trolling aside, here's my point: if you fail to correctly observe a name that's probably been on your screen for the best part of a few hours, then it's likely that any other data you present is unreliable. From a statistical viewpoint, such blatant errors invalidate anything you present. |

Noticed the same things using a Shadow Summoner using Arc. It's pretty hard to test so I have no data to share.
